Resumé
Bard is a veteran educator, technology visionary, and talented marketing executive. He's an accomplished keynote speaker and award-winning published author of 14 books and more than 300 articles. He began as a middle school teacher, then moved to managing educational technology at both the building and district level at one of the nation's largest and fastest-growing school districts.
Following more than 10 years experience in public education, he continued his high tech journey as senior marketing manager at Apple Computer. There he specialized in education marketing, and later, consumer/games marketing.
Currently, Bard serves as Director of Partner & Retail Marketing for TiVo, Inc., the leading maker of very cool Digital Video Recording devices. Prior to joining TiVO, he launched TechThree, Inc., a successful consulting business with a proven track record in leading and building marketing organizations in the education and consumer technology marketplace. The company specializes in strategic business planning, partner marketing, market deliverable production, training, program development, and accessibility conformance testing. He remains the Chairman of the Board of that company.
